ok finally hav the time and energy to write something.... went to shanghai on the 28th of december last year till the 1st of jan this year.... it was really great!!! so so much better than i thought... the pple were generally nicer than i thought and the food were really excellent... actually the trip started out on a really great note becos i like planes and the singapore airlines B777 that we took to shaghai wasnt in the standard sia livery, it was the special star alliance logo.... haha cant believe how excited i was just by being able to board a specially painted aircraft.... anyway if u wanna look at the plane pls copy and paste the link cos i to lazy to do it lah.... sorry...

at shanghai we went to those palces selling imitation stuff which u can bargain and get a good price.... i got some shirts from there.... bout S$5 each.... haha and they all hav brands like quiksilver and stuff... so cheapo of me but oh well, u know wad saf pay is like...

we oso went to places like the pearl tower which looks far more impressive real life than those pictures from the newspapers and stuff.... for meals we hav stuff like soy milk, bean curd, chinese stuff like that, only during dinner time where we will hav some western stuff... cant take chinese food all the way lah, can die one... there is also this shopping centre in the middle of shanghai called raffles city and yeah, its operated by a singaporean.... so inside u get stuff like breadtalk and other singapore brands.... the design and things like that also make u feel like ure in singapore... so clean, neat and they oso have food courts.... got ice kacang somemore...

oh yeah, lastly, the highest temperature we experienced there was 4 degrees, and that was on the first day, after that the temperature didnt rise above 1 degrees!! it was freezing man.... and it snowed on the 3rd day!! shanghai hasnt snowed for over 10 years according to the locals and this time it has even snowed enough to create white roof tops!! it was totally cool trying to endure the cold weather.... an absolute experience... haha man wanna go there again... great place

ok...... now that im back to earth (and camp), life is still as hectic, and there are some news here and there that suggests that i would be going for my overseas posting in thailand in feb... i will sure miss my friends.... those in church and of course those amazing friends i hav in camp... but in another way i would love to go just for the experience of working in an overseas base and also to get away from the bitch of a rq in my camp.. (sorry for the language but i cant stand pple that suck up to some, put down others and literally back stabs u when ure not looking or listening) she is such a big turn off that i am willing to not see my friends for a while and escape to thailand.. i hate her, and i will never forgive her, i hope she learns her lesson the hard way and that she gets the taste of her (or should i say it's) own medicine....
