went to orchard today with guoyuan and malau!! went to watch X-men 3.... yes i know, its been open for quite awhile already, quite a boring show actually... but still watchable... haha

well, below is a pic of me and malau still in taiwan, he's the one wearing the green coveralls, while im in civilian...

oh yeah, while i was at orchard mrt waiting for dear princess malau to appear from his cinderella castle dressing room, a girl/woman approached me and this was how she introduced herself

'er hi, we're looking for good looking (handsome) guys to do modelling, would you be interested?'

alright, being the good, kind person that i am (seriously!!) i decided not to decline her and gave her my hp number... now most of you would go "but wads wrong with pple asking u to be model?" BUT... n here's a big fat BUT ... right after that she went to this fat, average looking guy and said the same thing... ^_^ now now, i dun hav anything against fat pple, now pple with average looks ( i hav average looks myself), but if ure looking for pple to model for ur agency, shouldnt u hav at least SOME kind of standard??? geez, i mean, i dun even consider myself good-looking enough to be a model lor...

we then made our way to borders to catch some read b4 the movie starts, and guess who i saw on our way there.... DARREL CHUA!!! wahahahhaha!!! didnt expect to see him there sia.... we were like best buddies from primary 6 till sec 4, b4 i went to australia man.... hahahahah it was so good to see him.... caught up with him a bit then.... talking and stuff like that.... its like, a trip down memory lane.... kinda miss those times, carefree innocent childhood times.... sigh... but well, glad we caught up, glad that the friendship wasnt lost... this is one friendship that i would want to keep man... hmmm hopehe remembers me when he's writing his wedding invitations.... hahahahhaha

alright the past weekend was spent on a 3day retreat with the choir... the theme for hte whole retreat is about searching for true peace and true love

well, it certainly is a good retreat... and the theme cannot be even more true.... how often is it that we search for true peace and love in the world that we live?? expecting each new friend we meet to fit into the mould of a perfect person?? only to be disappointed time and time again?? well, im no different... ive learnt from a lot of experiences that friends do disappoint....

i dunno, maybe its becos i may be searching for the 'perfect' person to be my friend, but sometimes its just that i cant stand being taken for granted.... i treasure friendships, thats y i would always keep in contact once in a while with long lost friends and meet up, or maybe if i see them on the streets we would just have a quick session of catching up, purely in the sense of keeping the friendship with no ulterior motives involved.... maybe thats y i cant stand friends who take me for granted, those who only contact u when they need ur help and treat u like a pest....

the retreat has offered me a valuable insight to this blind hope that we all carry... but somehow, as normal human beings, its just difficult....

met up with kenny tan, guo yuan and elton on friday and went to WALA WALA!!! haha havent been to that place in ages but its still my favourite for listening to music and just chilling out lah... had a good time catchin up, had 4 jugs of hoegaarden white shared among the 4 of us, not to mention chicken wings and a pizza...

hahah and despite wad timothy told me, e.i.c is still at wala's!! well he told me they weren't there anymore but i guess they still are veyr much alive there... awesome!! they were like so cool, making fun of everything from the progress package and there was this one time wala had a black-out half-way through their song, so when they managed to finish it they called it their 'black-out' remix.... hahahhaa love them....

WALAS!!!! its elton, guo yuan, me and kenny tan

oh well, the only bummer part was that elton couldn't be with us till the end of it, he had to leave halfway and be with his family.... well its ok, there will be another meeting up this coming sat at east coast park for roller blading.... hopefully i can go there and come back in one piece...

sigh today is labour day, so that means tmr i will be booking into the dreadful 36sce.... sigh, havent eben back in 1 yr 2 mths so dunno wad it will be like...hopefully that hole has become more humane.... argh, dread to even think about that place...

oh yeah, had voice lesson today at denis' house oso... he said i need more practice because its been a long time since ive been back in choir.... oh well, but he said my voice wasnt that bad.... *keeping fingers crossed*
