I need to thank Father Michael today for a really good homily.

In short, he said, we should scrap all our discriminations, all the 'they're one of ours', 'no you are not part of us' notions are absolute rubbish. We should stop judging people based on their race, religion, where they come from, their sexual orientation etc. We need to stop all these and start accepting people for who they are.

Father Michael I applaud you for making such a bold and true statement. Indeed, this is what our society and indeed the whole world needs to hear. It is extremely true and in a time when even the vatican seems to oppose gays and lesbians, you encouraged us to embrace everyone, just as Christ would. Thank you.

i should thank God for all that He has given me. good family, good friends, and a group of really close friends that i cant live without, that are always there for me when i felt lonely and needed help.

i just hope my dad will be more supportive. i know, he is scared. but i need to do this, as i said before, not for anyone else. but for me. to be able to move on, to shake off my past.

God, pls help me not to stray, i pray that this is the right solution for me and wont make my problems worse. Amen.

it seems that there are two kinds of people in the world... those that face their problems head on, trying to solve them for a better life, and those so shy away from them, dwelling in it, hoping somehow it will end... i am the 'solving the problem head on' kinda guy, my gf is the 'shy away from the problem' kinda gal... i dunno, to each his own.. but for me, sometimes, i feel that life is too short to shy away from your problems. how long can you run? how short do you want your life to be before you say 'alright, life is too short to keep running away from it, its making my already short life even more unhappy'?

for me, i try to face all the problems head on, which of course, is impossible in life, i cant possibly do that on my own, i am afterall human... thats where my faith comes in, God has helped me, in times when i didnt think i could, and guided me, even though ive made mistake. but the bottom line is, yes, ive made mistakes, but that hasnt stopped me from trying to make a better life for myself.... life for me is too short to dwell on things that i know i cannot change, so why make myself unhappy? i have a choice, why make a choice that would make me miserable in the future?

i dunno, sometimes people might not like my way of thinking, and i might just have lost some friends in the process because of that.... might... i dunno, it seems like im all alone sometimes.. in the process of solving my problems, i get scared, yet i have no one to walk with me, even those who know my problems... havent heard anything, just dead silence..... i guess, i am to walk alone afterall...
